Perfect location to visit Helsinki right in the heart of city. Very good ambiance, quality service and preferred by locals.
Breakfast in summer is not as good as in winter. No seasonal berries, fruits available which was a disappointment.

Personable, convenient location, excellent, comfortable restaurant with a night bar
Staff can not decide and did not possess information on hanging out in the city. Maybe it's just Finland?

The location is ideal for accessing major sites in the heart of Helsinki, which greatly enhanced our experience. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with a lot of varieties to choose from. The dinner options at the restaurant could benefit from a wider selection.

Location in the hearth of the town, friendly staff, peaceful, nice room,
The breakfast was good but it was not the worth of its price (29 euros/person).

Fantastic location for shopping, the waterfront & restaurants. The room was wonderful... very comfortable & relaxing.
The hotel bar & lounge area was very dark, maybe even drab but very comfortable. The elevator needed your room key-card which I could just not get to work everytime.

This is a luxury hotel with a fascinating history. The rooms are reassuringly elegant and quite large. The artwork around the hotel really impresses too. I mistakenly identified a large painting of a bull's head (protected by a toughened glass screen) as a Picasso. Upon asking at reception, I was told that, no, that painting is by a well-known Finnish artist, but that the hotel does indeed own a Picasso, which isn't on display.
Only the minor points. Firstly, the breakfast is hideously expensive at €29 per person. Secondly, the TV in the room takes a frustratingly long time to change from one channel to another. Thirdly, the hotel internet is expensive at €20 per 24 hour period (although it's free in the lobby). I bought a prepaid SIM card (at the kiosk in the station) for €6 from a company called Saunalahti which includes 24 hours of unlimited 3G internet for €1.90 and tethered my mobile to my laptop.

Excellent historical ambiance throughout the hotel.
This caused significant delays, especially when my room was on a high floor. The check-in experience started well but turned frustrating as the front desk staff seemed overwhelmed, impacting service quality.

No complaint, the venue met required needs, would recommend it. The breakfast was rich, the hotel was high-class and clean. The property was in the centre of the city. The friendly efficient and very efficient staff truly made me feel welcome. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was tasty.

Everything was perfect (as usual), just keep it that way!!!
Re-loading of hotel computers blocked all services including mini-bar. That lasted abt. 3 hours only, however we would really appreciate if some drinks could be available in the room on arrival.

The location is excellent.
Unfortunately Kämp has lost it's top-notch excellence and quality. The service (especially cleaning and maintenance) has degraded, as well as the condition of the hotel spaces.
